Mt Buller Village Map
The Merrijig Ski Club lodge is located in the Mt Buller village at 38 Stirling Road, a short stroll from the centre of the village, on the corner of Stirling Road and Chamois Road.
Getting to Merrijig
Conveniently, the free Mt Buller village shuttle has a bus stop directly across the road, marked as number 3 on the map below. The shuttle runs throughout winter from 8am to 6pm, and until midnight Saturdays. Alternatively it is a 5 minute walk or you can catch a 4WD taxi.
The map below shows the location of Merrijig Ski Club as lodge number 131 (highlighted in darker blue).

Getting to the slopes
When it's time to hit the slopes, you have a few options to get to them from Merrijig Ski lodge:
- Walk or catch the shuttle bus in to the village centre, where you can buy lifts tickets and catch the Blue Bullet chairlift. Queues are generally longer in the village centre though.
- Walk to the top of the Chamois lift, where you can buy lift passes and start skiing straight away without having to load a lift. Conditions permitting, people have been known to ski down Chamois Road straight on to the runs!
- A lesser known locals tip is to find your way to the Canyon Trail and the two rope tows which gives you instant access to Standard Run and the rest of the mountain, bypassing all queues, crowds and the village centre. To find the Canyon Trail, start near the top of Chamois Lift and negotiate your way just below the buildings on skiers right of Chamois Run until you see the rope tows. See the Mt Buller Trail Maps (Southern Slope) for details.
- To access other locations around the village, such as Mt Buller Ski School or the Arlberg hotel area (where there is access to several different run options), catch the free shuttle to the village loop, and then catch another shuttle to your chosen destination.
- Tip: if you arrange your tickets a day or more before you intend to ski, you can hit the slopes straight away and avoid any morning queues.
